USBC Headquarters is pleased to announce the newest feature available on bowl.com, the "Search for an Association" tool.
State associations will find this tool to be a tremendous benefit as it will allow them to track which local associations in their respective state have been chartered by USBC Headquarters. And best of all, this information is in real time, thereby eliminating the need for state associations to track chartered local associations using paper records. (Due to this new feature's capabilities, USBC Headquarters no longer will copy state associations on the charter letter issued to local associations.)
Similar to the "Search for a Member" tool, the "Search for an Association" drop-down option permits state associations to see a list of active associations within their respective state, including all newly-chartered USBC associations. Additionally, the state association can determine which USBC chartered local association(s) are merged and with whom. The state association can search for local associations by association name, association number, state or zip code.
Local associations also will find the "Search for an Association" tool useful. For example, local associations using the drop-down option can look up their association by name, number, state or zip code to find out their USBC Status and what bowling centers are listed under their association.
In addition, this tool also lists the bowling center's contact information, number of lanes and all of the services it offers such as a USBC Certified coach, pro shop, Sport Bowling, snack bar, game room, etc.
To access the "Search for an Association" tool, go to the bowl.com homepage. The "Search for..." tool is listed in the upper left-hand corner of the page. Click on the arrow to the right of the drag-down box and select "Association." From here, the user will be asked some general questions to determine which field(s) he/she wishes to view.
