Rio Rancho claims New Mexico Division 1 state title

The kegling crown was won May 20 at Starlight Lanes, located on the second floor of the Santa Ana Star Casino north of Rio Rancho.

Although it wasn't the Rio Rancho Rams' home lanes, they made it seem that way, as the five-boy A team combined for a scratch score of 2,716 to win the "big school" (classes 4A and 5A) championship.
