Motel 6 announces Motel 6 Strikes & Bikes Sweepstakes
CARROLLTON, Texas - Motel 6 teams up with the Professional Bowlers Association, Orange County Choppers and Strike Ten Entertainment to offer the Motel 6 Strikes & Bikes Sweepstakes. Enter to win a custom OCC bike, valued at more than $60,000, and the chance to bowl for $1 million at an ESPN televised PBA tournament.

Other prizes include OCC gift packs, bowling parties at Strike Ten bowling centers, Elite bowling balls and Dexter bowling shoes. In addition to the sweepstakes, Motel 6 is offering a free game of bowling with Strike Ten buy-one-get-one-free coupons to anyone who stays at its properties May 26 through July 4.

The sweepstakes runs May 26 through Aug. 30.

"As an official sponsor of the PBA, we know first-hand how passionate bowlers are about their sport," said Eric Studer, senior vice president of advertising and promotions for Motel 6. "We created the Motel 6 Strikes & Bikes Sweepstakes to combine the sport of bowling with the pastime of biking and offer a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to motorcycle and bowling enthusiasts."

Orange County Choppers grew out of Orange County Ironworks, a steel fabrication enterprise founded nearly 30 years ago by custom-chopper builder and rider Paul Teutul Sr. Inspired by such films as "Easy Rider" and Marlon Brando's "The Wild One," Teutul has nurturing his Orange County Ironworks into the booming commercial business it is today. OCC jumped on the custom bike scene at Daytona Biketoberfest 1999 with "True Blue," a classic chopper built in the basement of Paul Sr.'s house. Today, OCC garners worldwide praise and recognition for their custom designed and themed motorcycles.
