Thanks again for the very special surprise Sunday as yours truly got even older
right in front of your eyes- it's moments like that that I'll remember decades from
now, not the rare not-so-good stuff. I'm humbled.
Oregon, So Cal, and New
Mexico all in action this weekend!
There
is JBT action for everyone this weekend, with doubleheaders at 20th Century
Lanes in Portland, Holiday Bowl in Albuquerque, and Del Rosa Lanes in San
Bernardino- wow! Here's a more detailed look:
Holiday Bowl, Albuquerque NM-
The season opener for the NM-TX Conference starts at 12:30 PM Saturday, and 10
AM Sunday. As always, you can bowl wither one, or hopefully, both.
Holiday is always a terrific host, and the points you earn in September are
just as important as the points you earn in May, so don't miss the kickoff
events to a great season!
20th Century Lanes, Portland OR-
The first Oregon stop of the new season is at this great Portland center, which
has seen some thrilling JBT finishes in the past. Saturday is a huge
early-season day, as it offers DOUBLE POINTS for your finishing position, so
it's a great opportunity to establish yourself (or catch up to Jordan) in the
Pac NW points race. Saturday is also a JBT Women's Series event.
Will Natalie make it 2 in a row, or will another talented female step up and
earn her chance at $1,000 in the Girls Invitational? Spread the word for
a great weekend in the Northwest- don't miss it!
Camp Bakes Challenge at Del Rosa
Lanes, San Bernardino CA- This is one of our
biggest regular season event sponsorships ever. In addition to all the
regular JBT excitement, check this out: the highest scratch division
points scorer on the weekend will win a free entry to Camp Bakes, a great
clinic, which is also a ONE THOUSAND DOLLAR value. Holy
cow!!! That's plenty reason alone to not miss this event- please
help us make sure all our scratch bowlers know about this event. Del Rosa
is only a 4 hour drive from Phoenix and Las Vegas, so bowlers from that area
should really consider the trip. Of course, it's also the season-opening
weekend for So Cal, a chance to get an early jump on points, and Sunday is
another JBT Women's Series event- so a jam-packed, fun weekend on tap for
sure. One more tease for you- on one of the days, we'll use a lane
condition never before used at a JBT event! Check out the 'lane
conditions' section of the website if you're new to JBT and want to find out
more about our innovative program.
September 19-20: Red
Rock Lanes, Las Vegas NV
Las Vegas is a city where most bowling centers make you go 'whoa', but this
place makes you go "WHOA!!" It's been a long time in the works
to get JBT a weekend at Red Rock, but we got it! The center, which hosts
the PBA Tour Tournament of Champions, will kick off the Mojave Conference next
weekend with events Saturday at Noon and Sunday at 9 AM. We really want
to show our appreciation to the center by making this a huge weekend, and
with no other JBT events that weekend, we hope people will come from all
conferences for a fun weekend at this glitzy facility. Make your plans
now!
Plan out the rest of the
schedule too!
Now is the time to make plans for Main Event, Best in the West, the Doubles and
Team events, and all the other great regular season action on our fall
schedule. Make sure to make www.jbttravel.com
your one-stop destination for all your hotel, car, and flight needs.
See you soon!
We'll see you
this weekend for a great time at JBT events all over the place! Spread
the word, folks, it's the only way we exist!
