JBT Online Update 9-26-07
Thanks to everyone who came out to another great weekend of JBT events last week. Four more champions were crowned and almost $4,000 in scholarships were awarded in events in San Diego and Las Vegas. Coming up this weekend is a Texas-size doubleheader of action in El Paso for you! On Saturday, we'll visit the venerable Bowl El Paso, with a Noon starting time. That means you need to check in no later than 11:30 AM, so be sure to allow yourself the travel time you need. Then, on Sunday, we'll be just a few minutes away, at Oasis Lanes, with a 9:30 AM start. The big thing about Sunday is that it's a Double Points event... which means you can make a big dent in the points race with a good performance there! NM-TX folks, make your plans to come on down to Old El Paso for a great weekend of JBT action!
The following week, our fifth JBT Conference begins its second season, as Magic Lanes in Seattle opens up the Pacific Northwest season, with a 2 PM start time. What with all the scheduling woes, we are just about totally reliant on your help to spread the word about our events. Once people see a JBT event in action once, we think (well, we hope) they'll be impressed with what we do, but we need you to help us get them there the first time. Let's get the Pac NW season off to a great start with a big event at Magic!
We also have the last So Cal "TBA" date confirmed-- Saturday, November 10 will be a So Cal Conference stop at Vista Rec Center in Vista, CA, with a 1 PM start. Please fill in your schedules and make your plans to visit us at Vista!
Some of you have asked about room deals in Laughlin for our 12/2 event at Riverside Lanes. We don't have a hotel block reserved, but I did some checking, and found the hotels along the Laughlin strip priced at $39-$89, so plenty of good deals can be had. Try expedia, or the hotels directly, you should be able to get a good rate.
