Desert Open Wraps Up Summer Swing This Weekend- Be there!!!
The last of our bigger-money events that highlight the summer season takes place this weekend, with the 37th annual Desert Open, presented by BowlersDream.com. This is a handicap and scratch event, so handicap bowlers, this is a great chance to get more involved in the big summer action. Handicap bowlers will roll 8 games on Saturday, while scratch bowlers, you have a marathon 14-game test on a tough condition Saturday. $1,000 and the famous Glass Cactus goes to the winner of each division. Spots are still available, so don't miss this great and historic event!
Deer Valley Lanes, the Desert Open host center, has just been beautifully remodeled, and GM Peggy Cianciola is a huge supporter of youth bowling, so you'll feel very welcome. From 9-5 on Friday, practice is available at the league bowler rate on either of the two conditions we'll use. Ball storage will be available as well. Additionally, BowlersDream.com is offering even bigger discounts on their usual great deals- please check out their website for all the details.
