JBT Online Update 8-20-08

Season 13 Begins In San Diego This Weekend! The 2008-09 JBT season is here! Action kicks off this weekend at Kearny Mesa Bowl in San Diego. Like most weekends this season, this is a doubleheader weekend. This means that there are two separate tournaments this weekend,one on Saturday and one on Sunday. You can do just one, or, to capitalize on your travel budget, fun, and chances at JBT points, do them both! Many of you have already prepaid by sending in a payment, or by using our new convenient online credit card/paypal system. If you haven't yet, make sure to check in very early for the 1 PM start on Saturday, and the 9:30 AM start on Sunday. Also, be sure to allow yourself enough travel time-- if you're new to JBT, please note that we start our events on time! So Cal driving can be a challenge sometimes, and we want to make sure you have plenty of time to arrive in a calm manner to the event. So, please spread the word to fellow bowlers of all ages and averages that JBT time is here, and we'll see you there!!!

Cliff Castle Casino Next Weekend! Next weekend is our very popular annual visit to Cliff Castle Casino, up in cool(er) Northern Arizona. This season, we have a TRIPLE-header for you, with scratch and handicap events on Saturday and Sunday, and a scratch-only event on Sunday. As of Monday, there were 20 rooms left at Cliff Castle at our block rate, so if you'd like to stay there, be sure to get your rooms soon. This is always a fun weekend, so wherever you leave, consider this Labor Day getaway to say goodbye to summer and hello to JBT time!

Wide Open Points Races Anticipated- Spread the Word! With some of the biggest names in the JBT world moving on to adult bowling over the summer, and many of the higher-average handicap bowlers moving up to our scratch division, we are expecting some wide open races in each of our five conferences. So... GET IN ON THE FUN! Spread the word to your friends of all ages and averages that this is a fantastic time to discover all the great things that only JBT events offer. I know I sound like an old record, but we can only continue to exist if you guys are our 'ambassadors' and let people know all about our program.
