Hi Everyone!
After a year of unmatched action, fun, and excitement, the 2006-07 JBT season finally wraps up this weekend with two final great events for you.
On Saturday, it's time for our first ever Girls Invitational, at AMF Christown in Phoenix. Because the field is not yet full, this event is now open to any female who has bowled at least 1 JBT event this season. With $600 for first guaranteed on just a $30 entry fee, we certainly hope our high-average females will take advantage of this first-of-its-kind offering from us. The event starts at 11 AM, and is scratch only, but you needn't have bowled in the scratch division this year to bowl this event- don't miss it!
Then, on Sunday, it's time for our Tournament of All-Time Champions, at BRC Kyrene in Chandler. The event begins at 10 AM. There's scratch and handicap, and is open to any bowler who has EVER won a JBT sponsored event. $300 is the guaranteed first place prize per division. We hope you'll help spread the word to our JBT alumni that it's time for this event, and we look forward to seeing all our champs there!
After that, we'll take a big, long break--- one whole week-- and then season twelve of JBT competition begins, at Yorba Linda Bowl in Yorba Linda, CA. Everyone should have received schedules by now-- if you haven't please let us know. All the schedule info, and everything else you need to know, is all up on our website, www.bowljbt.com, so please visit it often and check it out!
Congrats to the many, many folks who have had great results in the many national-level summer tournaments the last few weeks. We already mentioned Junior Gold, but NM-TX bowler Geoffrey Young went for the daily double, winning the Teen Masters event as well- awesome job Geoffrey! JBT regulars Dean Richards and Zach Hattori just won the east coast JBT's Las Vegas Open last week, with top 10 finishes by many other JBT regulars. That's just a sampling of the fantastic accomplishments by our bowlers- we're very proud of you all!
You folks are all part of something very special out here in JBT-land. We are proud of what we do, but are powerless to do it without your support and your willingness to spread the word, so thanks for what you've done, and thanks in advance for what you'll do.
We'll see you this weekend for the wrap-up of the 06-07 season!
