TPC Fast Approaching)! We're now less than two weeks away from the 2008 Touring Players Championship! Thanks to the many of you have RSVP'd so far, and to the rest of you who are TPC eligible, please do so as soon as possible, so we can put on the best show possible for you (and get logistics like lunch details ready). Also, we have a few new TPC details. First, practice will be available Friday at Strike Zone for $2/game until 5 PM, mention JBT. Of course, we also have our sweeper event Friday at 1 PM. The sweeper will be conducted on the pattern that we're using for Sunday afternoon's bowling, so if you can get there, it will give you a sneak peek into that pattern. Lastly, lockers will be available while supplies last if you want to store your stuff at Strike Zone, just ask the friendly Strike Zone folks for details. Be sure to check the "TPC" section of the website for all the details, entry lists, and everything else you need to know about the most prestigious event of the season!

JBT Now Accepts Credit Cards You asked for it, you got it! We are now able to accept all major credit cards, and the 'paypal' system, for prepayments for all JBT events! Just visit the "Sign Me Up!" page of the website, or any individual event on the "Schedule" page, and it will take you right through the simple process. Please note that you can only use credit cards to prepay for JBT events online- we won't be taking credit cards at tournaments. We hope you'll take advantage of this great new feature of the JBT!

Speaking of the new season.... 2008-09 Fall Schedule Released Online We are happy to announce that the 2008-09 JBT Fall schedule is now available on the "Schedule & Results" page. 3 weekends are still being finalized and will be posted shortly. The new display should be even more informative and easy to use- just click on any event for more details on it. We think we have put together a great schedule for you, thanks in large part to your input. All weekends are doubleheader weekends in all conferences, so in most cases you can get two tournaments in for the cost of traveling once. Lots of veteran host centers join a few new ones, and drop-or-not joins the many different formats we run to keep things fresh. While the basic season-long structure of the Tour remains the same, we have one major change to announce: for the first time in 33 years, we are upgrading the JBT point system. First place in a standard JBT event is now worth 100 points, down to 10 points for 25th place. You get 10 points for participating in a JBT event. Bowlers earning the 'PBA Dress Code' bonus earn 10 points. The High game prize, which used to be an optional program, is now free to everyone, and is awarded in points. The five highest games of the tournament, in each division, earn 25-20-15-10-5 points respectively. Lastly, in JBT events that have round-by-round leaders (almost all do), you earn 5 points every time you lead a round (so 40 extra points are up for grabs in a standard format JBT). Our points races are extremely exciting and one of the things that makes JBT truly unique, so it makes sense to make them even more important factor in JBT events. By late July, you'll be receiving schedules in the mail as well. Time for the annual begging... PLEASE spread the word about our Tour, and that it is for bowlers of all ages and all averages. Even if you're done your junior career, encourage others to experience all the fun and opportunities we have to offer. Things have never been bigger or better in the JBT world, but it can ONLY continue with your support.
