Hello everyone!
Nothing like June in JBT! Lots of exciting stuff to cover, so read on!
Congratulations to Logan Kennedy and Josh Blanchard, champs of the Mojave Invitational held last Sunday. Over $7,500 was awarded to a great field in what I thought was one of the best Invitationals ever. Congrats also to Charlie Hair and Jeff Ingram, champs of Saturday's regular season So Cal event in Lake Forest-- Jeff won in style by clibing the ladder, while Charlie won in style with a 297 in the title match! Be sure to read all about it, and check out all the updated stats, all at our website, www.bowljbt.com- check it out today!
Three hugely important JBT events are on the slate for this weekend:
1) The Arizona Conference wraps up its regular season with a stop Saturday at AMF McRay Lanes in Chandler. We are limited to 105 entries, so if you haven't prepaid, please be very early for the 11 AM start time- we'd hate for anyone to be shut out in the last regular event of the year. Point races are tight in each division, so don't miss this great event! Also, the McRay pro shop is offering great discounts and services all day long, not just on AMF equipment, so check it out, and be sure to thank them for the generosity!
2) Also Saturday, we have the first of two Tournaments of All-Time Champions this season for you, this one at Silva Lanes in Albuquerque. This event is open to anyone, adult or junior, who has EVER won OR finished second in a JBT event. I bet you know if you're eligible or not, but if you are unsure, just let us know. It's an 11 AM start there as well, so be sure to check in early so we can start on time. Please spread the word to our alumni that it's T of C time- this is always a fun, relaxe d event so come on out and bowl with the champs!
3) On Sunday, the NM-TX Conference wraps up its season with the NM-TX Invitational, Sunday at Silva, starting at 9:30 AM. 111 eligible bowlers will compete for the $1,000 first place scholarships in each division. Bowler of the Year and All-Star Team are definitely up for grabs in eah division, so it'll definitely be an exciting event. A 9:30 start means we start awards and stuff by 9:15 at the latest, so be plenty early for check-in, we'll be ready by 8 AM.

And coming soon....
The field is now set for the So Cal Invitational, held next Saturday at Mira Mesa in San Diego. 104 bowlers are eligible to compete for the $1,000 top prize in each division. The final batch of flyers to eligible bowlers was sent yesterday. You can verify your eligibility at the website, and if you're missing the flyer, the same information we're mailing you (or gave you at a recent JBT event) is at the schedule page of the website. If you have any questions at all, just let me know!
After Saturday, we'll have the field set for the Arizona Invitational. More entries were sent this week, and people who don't officially qualify until after Saturday will have their entry sent Monday- but again, check the website for quicker information. The AZ Invite is next Sunday at AMF Peoria- if you're eligible, don't miss it!
With the Mojave Invitational over, that means another 40 bowlers have now qualified for the Touring Players Championship, July 21-22 in Glendale, AZ. With a $2,000 first place scholarship per division, 16 places cashing for at least $60, and two days of amazing bowling, all for a $50 entry fee, this is the best value out there for your summer bowling travels.... do not miss this event! Newly eligible Mojave bowlers are being sent their entries this week (eligible Pac NW bowlers have had their entries sent). Click on the TPC page of the website for all the details, and a list of qualifiers.
