Hello everyone!
Here we go with one of the busiest-- and most fun-- weeks of the JBT year!
Last weekend, our Arizona regular season wrapped up on Saturday, and the NM-TX season was completed on Sunday with another very exciting Invitational. Almost $12,000 in scholarships was awarded just this weekend!! Be sure to visit our jam-packed website, www.bowljbt.com, for all the final results, updated stats, and so much more! Thanks to everyone who was involved in the bag o' gifts for JD and myself-- you guys are awesome!!!

Coming up this weekend is the ultimate test in JBT endurance- back to back Invitationals! On Saturday, the So Cal Conference completes its season with the So Cal Invitational. We start at 11:30 at Mira Mesa; that means awards, etc. will be rolling by 11:15, so don't be late! 105 bowlers are eligible to compete for the $1,000 first place prize in each division, so if you're eligible, by all means don't miss it!
Then on Sunday, the Arizona Conference completes the Invitational season with their Invite, starting bright and early at 9 AM on Sunday. That means don't check in any later than 8:30! A whopping 131 of you are eligible to compete for the $1,000 top prize at AMF Peoria, so don't miss it!
Remember, Josh Blanchard will be hosting a "Lane Play Clinic" before both of this weekend's events. They're open to anyone who wants to learn more about how to play on the PBA Experience and Junior Gold patterns. Maybe he can teach me how to play on Chameleon, that kicked my butt! The clinic will be about an hour, so it needs to start by 10 on Saturday and no later than 8 on Sunday. We hope you'll take advantage of this great offer from Josh!

After these events are completed, our field will be set for the Touring Players' Championship, the most prestigious event of our year. If you've already qualified via the final Mojave or Pac NW point list, your name is on the TPC section of the website. Be sure to check out that TPC section for all the details about our showcase event of the season! We'll have lots more about the TPC next week, once it's the primary event on the calendar.
After Sunday, our field will also be set for the Girls' Invitational, August 11 at AMF Christown.
Entries and details on both the TPC and the Girls' Invitational will be sent ASAP after you become officially eligible this weekend.

We are in the process of printing mini-flyers for the 2007 Main Event. They'll be little booklets, that will make it easy for you to spread the word about that great tournament. We are looking for Main Event Ambassadors who will be willing to distribute these booklets at their summertime events nationwide. If you'd like to help us- and yourselves, since more entries means more prizes- please email me and we'll make arrangements to get some booklets to you!

WOW! In the winter months, it seems like the JBT season will last forever, then all of a sudden, poof!, we're at our frantic and thrilling conclusion, a bittersweet time for me for sure. We hope to see every eligible bowler this weekend at the Invitationals, as we race closer to the finale of our biggest and best season ever!
