Portland this weekend! Coming up this weekend is a Pac NW Conference doubleheader at 20th Century Lanes in Portland. Saturday's event starts at 1 PM, while a second, separate Sunday event begins bright and early at 9 AM. As always with our doubleheaders, you can bowl only Saturday, only Sunday, or, hopefully, both! Sunday's event is also the Pac NW's first DOUBLE POINTS event of the season, which of course makes it doubly important. Sunday is also the next event in our JBT Women's Series, which has proven to be very exciting as well. Pac NW bowlers, please remember, it's completely up to YOU to spread the word about our events- it's literally the only way we can continue to exist. So, thanks in advance, and we'll see you in Portland this weekend for some great JBT action!

Best In The West next week! Coming up next weekend is our first JBT Major event of the season, the Best In The West tournament, at BRC Zone Mesa in Mesa, AZ. This is a TWO-DAY long tournament, with qualifying starting Saturday at 10 AM. So, unlike our normal weekends, you can't just bowl on Sunday- again, this is a two-day long tournament. Being a Major, $500 is the guaranteed first place scholarship per division, and if you haven't checked out the format on our website, please do so- I guarantee you haven't bowled in a format like this anywhere else- it's by far one of our bowlers' favorites, so check it out! Plus, the $65 entry fee means it's actually less expensive to bowl this major event for $500 first place than it is to bowl two regular events in a weekend, which would offer a minimum of $400 for first--- yet another reason to not miss Best In The West!

Doubles & Team events fast approaching- got your partners? December means JBT Doubles events for AZ, NM-TX, So Cal, and Pac NW, and team events for AZ and So Cal- if you haven't got partner(s) for these events, also some of our most popular, this is the time to get them! On our message board, we have a new "need a partner" section where people can get together- it looks like people are finally starting to take advantage of it, and I encourage everyone to do so. You can also get your Main Event doubles and 4-person teams together too in that way.

Records Page Updated! When I switched everything over to a new computer this spring, the Records page of the website was one of the ones that completely crashed and burned--- ugh! I've finally got that page re-done, so check it out! This was all reconstructed by hand, so I'm sure there will be some omissions- if you should be on a record and aren't, please contact me and we'll make it right. Enjoy the trip down memory lane! I'll be continuing to make updates to the site's records and history pages throughout the season.... now, about those videos................

Main Event Is Coming! The 2008 Las Vegas Main Event will be here before you know it! Over $50,000 in guaranteed scholarship prizes will be awarded to a nationwide field. Remember, squad size limits will be smaller this year, so if you know your squad times but aren't quite ready to pay yet, get an entry blank sent in, and pay when you can. One caveat: pleeease don't fill out an entry blank, and then not attend- or at least let us know if you're not. We want to make sure you get the squad you want, but you can imagine that 'I might be coming' reservations simply don't work in a tournament that big. So... get those entries in, and get ready for the biggest open-field event of the junior bowling year! Also, there is still time to get shirts ready in time for the Main Event! Simply visit the 'merchandise' section of our website to download the great new JBT shirt catalog. You can order any shirt in there with the brand new Main Event logo (which is pretty spiffy- check that out also!)- just indicate that you want the main event logo instead of the JBT logo on your order form!
